We at Ling House recognise that many of our patients have a carer or are carer's themselves, and that this cohort of patients can benefit from additional support and help.
This can include support navigating through the various health and social care providers, negotiating with employers around being able to work and care at the same time, ensuring that they access appropriate benefits and help plan for future care costs.
To help support our patients through this, we have access to Carer Support Workers who work with Carer's Resource at Ling House on a weekly basis. They are invaluable in providing help and support to carers.
Appointments can be booked via Reception. Carers are also eligible for a free annual flu jab.
