Genes & Health Research

On Wednesday 16th April 2025 between 9.30am and 1pm, Ling House Medical Centre will be hosting the Genes & Health Study. Researchers will be based in the surgery and may approach you to take part in the study. The study is open to Pakistani & Bangladeshi patients aged 16+years. Keighley Hearts Support Group starts Thursday 12th December 2024 1 0.00am - 11.30am. No need to book, just turn up. Carers welcome. Held on the second Thursday of every month at Sangat Community Centre, Marlborough Street, BD21 3HU 01535 677177 admin@khl.org.uk. We welcome anyone who is: Newly diagnosed and wanting to learn how to live well with their condition Living with an existing heart condition and willing to offer support to others, or wanting expand their network.

Measles

In England cases of measles are continuing to increase as is the risk to those unvaccinated. Measles is serious and without intervention, the NHS could see many hospitalised, and there is a real risk of completely preventable measles related deaths.
